The Car Wars and DealerSocket integration connect phone and text activity with CRM workflows so dealership teams can review calls, follow up on opportunities, and measure agent activity from a shared record.
Available features depend on your Car Wars products and DealerSocket configuration.
What the integration can do
- Capture phone opportunities: Car Wars can log sales phone-ups in DealerSocket and create a lead when one was not entered manually.
- Provide call context: A sales opportunity can include the call recording and a written recap so the assigned user can follow up.
- Improve assignment: Voice Recognition helps associate calls with the correct agent before information is sent to DealerSocket.
- Support outbound Click-to-Call: Eligible users can start outbound calls from DealerSocket and have the activity tracked.
- Organize unmatched records: Phone Bucket workflows help teams review and assign calls that still need attention.
- Measure performance: CRISP, Daily Checkout, agent-level, and marketing reports provide different views of activity and outcomes.
- Control routing: Dealership-configured routing can help direct calls to the intended team and reduce duplicate handling.
- Texting [NEW]: Car Wars can now power your texting compliantly with a new texting integration with DealerSocket. The integration enables users to send and receive messages directly inside the CRM.
How inbound sales opportunities are handled
- A customer calls a Car Wars tracking or agent line.
- Car Wars captures the call and applies the configured assignment and sales-classification workflow.
- Qualifying sales activity is sent to DealerSocket. If a matching lead was not entered manually, the integration can create one.
- The DealerSocket record can include the call recording and written recap.
- The assigned user follows up from the CRM workflow.
Non-sales calls can be excluded from sales-opportunity workflows according to the configured review and classification settings.
How outbound Click-to-Call is used
- An eligible user starts a call from DealerSocket.
- Car Wars places and tracks the outbound call using the user's configured line and phone information.
- The resulting activity is available for follow-up and reporting.
Reports and follow-up tools
- CRISP reporting shows performance against Connect, Request and Invite, Set, and Pursue goals.
- Daily Checkout helps compare open or completed CRM tasks with actual outbound dials.
- Agent-level reporting helps managers review how calls are handled.
- Marketing ROI reporting connects tracking-line activity with sources, opportunities, and appointments.
Validate the integration
- Place a test inbound sales call and confirm it appears under the intended DealerSocket user or queue.
- Confirm the recording and written recap are available when those features are enabled.
- Place a test Click-to-Call call from an eligible user and confirm the activity is tracked.
- Review Phone Bucket and reporting views for the test activity.
For Texting,
- Confirm with your Car Wars rep that you are texting ready. Ensuring 10DLC readiness and appropriate account configurations.
- Send and receive texts directly in DealerSocket.
If a text or call is missing, assigned incorrectly, or missing its recording or recap, contact Car Wars Support with the dealership name, call direction, phone number used, approximate timestamp, and expected DealerSocket user. Do not include customer-sensitive information unless Support requests it through an approved channel.
